Easy Homemade Marinara Sauce
Use your hands to crush peeled San Marzano tomatoes from a can
Saute minced garlic in olive oil in a large skillet
Add the crushed tomatoes to the skillet with oregano, sugar, salt & red pepper flakes
Bring to a simmer
Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes
Stir in fresh chopped basil, continue to cook for 5 minutes
Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or the freezer for up to 6 months!
